About the Speaker

David Johnson has been working in IT since he and his family moved from Texas to East Tennessee in 1989. David took a job at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and has been working in Oak Ridge ever since. David’s experience with Microsoft Exchange began in 1993, when he began administering the Exchange 5.5 infrastructure at Y-12/K-25. Since then, he has worked in Exchange environments including Y-12/K-25, Y-12 Classified, SAIC, Dept of Homeland Security, and ORNL. David has worked with Exchange 5.5, 2003 and 2007, as well as Ironport Email Security Appliances. In a previous life, David was a newspaper photographer, and still enjoys photography today as a hobby. David and his wife live in an old Victorian in the historic Parkridge neighborhood near downtown Knoxville.
